Week 6
Invisible Leaves
Noticing the Subtle
This Week's Focus
What's at the edge of your perception? This week is about seeing what you've been missing—the quiet sounds, the tiny movements, the things hiding in plain sight.
"Most of what we miss isn't hidden. We just don't look closely enough."
Seven Daily Practices
Monday: Look Twice for What You Missed
Choose an environment you know well. Find five things you've never noticed before. They were always there.
Time: 5 min
Tuesday: Listen for Quiet Sounds
Sit still. Listen for the quietest sounds you can hear. The hum of electronics. Distant traffic. Your own breath. How quiet can you hear?
Time: 5-10 min
Wednesday: Watch Tiny Movements
Observe something very small moving: a leaf in the breeze, dust in sunlight, steam rising. Give it your complete attention.
Time: 5 min
Thursday: Notice What's Unspoken
In conversations today, pay attention to what's not being said: body language, pauses, tone shifts. What's hiding in the silences?
Time: Ongoing
Friday: Watch How Light Moves
Throughout the day, notice how light changes. Morning light, afternoon shadows, evening glow. Light is always moving—are you watching?
Time: 5-10 min
Saturday: Find What's at the Edge
All day, notice what's at the edge of your perception. Peripheral vision. Background sounds. The thing you almost didn't see.
Time: Ongoing
Sunday: Integration & Reflection
Reflect: What did you discover at the edges this week? What becomes visible when you look more carefully?
Time: Self-paced
